Audience
Preparation & Implementation (P&I) training is designed for:
- Administrators and/or leadership teams interested in exploring and/or preparing to implement Check & Connect®
- Those assigned to create their site's Check & Connect® implementation plan
Important: This training content is NOT designed for training mentors and should be completed before Mentor Training.
Objectives
- How to lead C&C implementation with confidence.
- Administer a systematic and structured intervention that is both data-informed and evidence-based.
- Make change and increase student engagement by connecting a caring mentor to students at-risk of dropping out.
- Apply the conceptual framework for moving students toward successful school completion along the continuum of Attend, Engage, and Invest.
Format Options
- Online Training: Learn at your own pace with flexible, self-guided online modules that fit your busy schedule.
- Onsite Training: Bring one of our Implementation Specialist to your site for hands-on, personalized training designed around your team’s needs.
Online Preparation & Implementation Training
The self-paced online version of this training includes:
- 2.5 hours of on-demand video

Onsite Preparation & Implementation Training
The in-person version of this training includes:
- In-person training by a Check & Connect® Implementation Specialist
- One full day of training (6 Hours)

- Certificate of completion
- 5 hours of technical assistance post-training
