Districts in Action (DiA) sets out to demonstrate the promise of high-quality, community focused service-learning that improves student academic and civic learning outcomes. Join us to learn how districts across the country are implementing and sustaining service-learning, explore results of initial evaluations, and learn how you can use the approaches and learnings from DiA in your own school or district.

Elizabeth Koenig

Elizabeth Koenig began her career with the National Youth Leadership Council (NYLC) in 2008 as an AmeriCorps*VISTA and continues her work leading NYLC’s Professional Development team. She currently supports NYLC’s efforts in developing young leaders and supporting educators by developing and delivering trainings for educators and young people, coordinating nationwide efforts to support out-of-school time service-learning, and leading efforts to integrate service-learning in school districts around the country. Elizabeth graduated from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.
