What: Check & Connect Implementation Study in the San Diego Unified School District. This study is testing the efficacy of Check & Connect with general education students in the San Diego Unified School District who meet specific criteria for being at-risk for failing to graduate from high school.
Where: Ten high schools in the San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD).
When: The study/implementation started in September 2011. Participating students are now in the second semester of their 10th grade year. Mentors will follow students through their scheduled graduation in June 2014, and the study will be completed by February 2015.
